Orange - Bay Leaf Juice

There is something special about that first sip of freshly squeezed orange juice, sweet, tart and refreshing. Combine it with bay leaf tea and it adds an aromatic twist on the classic orange juice. To make your bay leaf "tea" break up a large bay leaf and cover with 1/2-3/4 cup boiling water, let it steep and naturally cool until you are ready to use it. (I made mine the night before and let it sit out until the morning.) I garnished the juice with a little Pink Himalayan salt and it tasted unexpectedly great, adding a little saltiness to the sweet-tartness. Enjoy!

  • 4-5 Navel oranges, juiced
  • 1/2 cup bay leaf tea
  • Pink Himalayan salt*optional

Combine the orange juice and tea and stir well. Sprinkle a little salt on top. Serves 1.
